The yogurt.gr product directory is a structured list of products that are made from, or built on, Greek yogurt. Each entry records the brand, the company behind it, where it is made, whether it is authentically strained or "Greek-style", the milk type, fat and protein where the maker publishes them, the markets it sells in, and a link to the maker's own product page. Nothing is listed that we could not verify on an official or primary page in October 2026.

This article explains how the directory is organised, highlights what is in it, and sets out the rules for getting a product added or corrected.

How entries are classified

Style is the field that matters most, because the word "Greek" on a label can mean several things:

Style

Meaning

Authentic strained (Greece)

Made in Greece under the Greek Food Code: strained, no thickeners

Strained (outside Greece)

Strained yogurt made elsewhere, e.g. Chobani, FAGE USA, Stonyfield

Greek-style (thickened)

Not strained; thickened with milk proteins, starch or pectin

Skyr

Icelandic-style strained product, listed for comparison

Other

Products built on yogurt but not themselves strained yogurt: traditional set yogurt, drinks from ultrafiltered milk, dips, frozen desserts, cosmetics

Category groups products by use: plain strained yogurt, flavoured yogurt, drink, frozen, dip/savoury, cosmetic, protein/fitness, dessert.

Made in is recorded separately from the brand's home country because the same brand can manufacture in two places. FAGE Total sold in Europe is made in Greece; FAGE Total sold in North America is made in Johnstown, New York.

What is in the directory (October 2026)

Plain strained yogurt made in Greece

FAGE Total 0%, 2% and 5% and the lactose-free BeFree range; Olympus Strained 5%, 2%, Freelact lactose-free and the 10% export tub; Kri Kri My Authentic Greek Yogurt 0%, 2% and 10%; Mevgal Strained 2% and 10% and the Only lactose-free line; Dodoni Authentic Greek Yoghurt 10%; Delta Complet (Full and lactose-free 2%); Koukakis Farm strained yogurt; Kolios Authentic Greek Yogurt 0% and 10%. Published protein figures run from 10.3 g per 100 g (FAGE 0%) to about 6 g per 100 g for the cream-rich 10% products.

Traditional sheep's and goat's milk yogurt

Koukakis Farm traditional sheep yogurt with skin, Mevgal and Dodoni sheep yogurts. These are set yogurts rather than strained; they are listed because they are the historic Greek product and because export shoppers often confuse them with strained.

Strained yogurt made outside Greece

Chobani Plain (nonfat, low-fat, whole milk), FAGE Total US range, Oikos Triple Zero, Stonyfield Organic Greek Nonfat, Wallaby Organic Whole Milk Greek, Trader Joe's Strained Greek, Kirkland Signature Organic Greek, Liberté Organic 0% (Canada), Yeo Valley Greek Recipe 0% Strained (UK), Green Mountain Creamery (Vermont). siggi's skyr is included as the closest competitor and flagged as skyr.

Flavoured, split-cup and snack lines

FAGE Total Split Cup, Olympus Nonfat with Greek Honey (US import), Kolios 0% with Honey, Chobani Flip and Zero Sugar, Delta Vitaline, siggi's Fruit & Fiber.

Protein and fitness

Kri Kri Super Spoon High Protein, Kolios Hercules (10 g protein, 0% fat), Chobani High Protein 20 g cups, Oikos Triple Zero and Oikos Pro (the latter is cultured ultrafiltered milk, not strained yogurt, and is labelled as such in the directory).

Drinks

Chobani High Protein Greek Yogurt Drink (20 g and 30 g), Oikos Pro Drink.

Frozen

Kri Kri Greek Frozen Yogurt (now in US and Asian markets), Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt Bars and Poppables.

Dips and savoury

Cedar's Cucumber Garlic Tzatziki and Tzatziki with Feta, Trader Joe's Greek-style yogurt dip.

Cosmetics

KORRES Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser, Probiotic Gel-Cream, Probiotic Quench Sleeping Facial, Yoghurt SPF30 and SPF50 sunscreens and Yoghurt Shower Gel. See Greek yogurt for skin and hair for what these can and cannot do.

What is deliberately not in it

  • Products we could not find on an official page (several Greek regional brands, some retailer lines).

  • Discontinued products (Ben & Jerry's Greek frozen yogurt, for example).

  • Plant-based "Greek-style" alternatives, which contain no yogurt. They may get their own section later.

  • Foodservice chains whose "Greek frozen yogurt" base could not be verified.

Reading the nutrition columns

Protein and sugar per 100 g are copied from the maker's published nutrition table and left blank where none was found. Blank does not mean low; it means unverified. Where a maker's page was internally inconsistent (one Greek brand's full-fat page showed a 2% table), the figures were left blank and the inconsistency noted.

For producers and brands

The directory is editorially independent and free to be listed in. If you make a product based on Greek yogurt and it is missing, or an entry is wrong, send us the official product page, the nutrition table and the country of manufacture through the contact page, choosing "List a product in the directory" or "Update or correct a listing". We verify against your own published pages and do not accept paid placements in the directory itself. Featured positions elsewhere on the site are a separate conversation.

Product names and trademarks belong to their owners. Listing is not endorsement. Nutrition values are the makers' own published figures at the verification date and may change; always read the current label.
